Girls Tier I 16U

The Girls Tier I 16U league is organized and managed by the Upper Midwest Girls High School Elite League. The Girls Elite League consists of three 16U teams that play a 20+ game Tier 1 schedule starting in September. Teams are formed by invitation only, however all girls within the state are eligible to participate.

The invitation process begins with the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance program in the Spring. Players who advance through the High Performance program's tiered evaluation process and are chosen to attend a USA Hockey National Player Development Camp receive an automatic invite. Additional players are selected, based on their performance in the High Performance programs, to participate in League tryouts in July.
